28, ILL LONG, DIES
Had Undergone Treatment Last
Fall And For A Time Seem-
ed Improved.
J. Walter Zeigler, son of Walter
F. Zeigler, 21 Rosemont avenue,
died at the Frederick City hospital
at 11:25 o'clock Tuesday night of
complications, aged 28 years. Mr.
Zeigler had been in ill health since
last October but his death came as
a distinct shock to his many friends.
He was a patient at the Freder-
ick City hospital several months
ago and for a time his condition
showed improvement, but recently
it took a turn for the worse and he
returned to the hospital last Sun-
day. He lapsed into a coma Tues-
day and died without regaining
consciousness.
Mr. Zeigler was a graduate of
Frederick high school. Class of
1926, and for a time attended Mary-
land Institute, Baltimore. Until his
health failed he was a local distributor
for a Baltimore beer firm. He was
a memober of St. John's Catholic
church, this city.
He is survived bye his father and
stepmother, his wife, formerly Miss
Ann Graham Dennis, and young
son, in addition to one brother,
George A. Zeigler, at home.
The body was removed to the
funeral home at 54 East Patrick
street and funeral arrangements
will be announced later. Harry E.
Carty Company, funeral directors.
